The 15th National Congress of Chinese Society of Behavioral Medicine was held in Xi’an from 23rd to 25th August. The Congress was hosted by Chinese Society of Behavioral Medicine, Shaanxi Provincial Medical Association and Shaanxi Mental Hospital. More than three hundred experts and researchers from home and abroad attended the congress, including from Netherlands, Sweden and Hong Kang.
Professor Joost Dekker attended the congress, delivered a speech as President of International
Society of Behavioral Medicine (ISBM) and was awarded “Prize for Special Contribution” by Chinese Society of Behavioral Medicine (CSBM) and gave a lecture on Promoting Adherence to Exercise Therapy and Physical Activity. President of CSBM Professor Bai Bo attended the congress and gave a presentation.
Behavioral medicine has been developing quickly in China in recent years, and great academic achievements have been made at the congress.
